As a part of its commitment to support its members through a trying 2020, HIF will now provide Mental Health Navigator at no cost for all members, no matter their level of cover during the COVID-19 pandemic.

HIF is the first Australian health fund to offer benefits for teledentistry consultations delivered during the COVID-19 crisis.

HIF will be temporarily providing Telehealth benefits for some Extras health services.

HIF today announced that Members with private hospital insurance will be eligible for treatment resulting from COVID-19 at no extra cost.

In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, HIF has introduced a new policy suspension option for Members who are struggling financially.

In line with the Prime Minister’s recommendation, HIF’s workforce is now operating from home.

Effective March 25, all non-urgent elective surgery has been suspended temporarily.
