A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address upon joining HIF health insurance. This email will welcome you to HIF, and provide you with all the information you need to know about your private health insurance policy. It will then take approximately seven working days for your application to be processed into our system, then a second email will be sent advising you of your HIF member number and confirming your membership details. Please rest assured that you are automatically covered from your chosen commencement date though; the processing of your application is simply an admin requirement at our end in order to activate your membership in our system.
The easiest way to change your bank account details is logon onto our Online Member Centre. Available online 24/7, it allows you to update payment details and make a payment, as well as update your personal details, view your claims history, and much, much, more. If you haven’t done so already, make sure you register to access your Member Centre.
