HIF will be contacting all members who reside in the communities severely impacted, to offer financial support on their health premiums for up to 12 months. The level of support provided by HIF will be dependant on the members personal circumstance.
Justin James, CEO of HIF, said that it’s been a tough year already for many Western Australians, so it’s important for businesses to help in anyway they can.
“I was in Carnarvon, just on Friday, where I had the opportunity to meet many members of the local community, who were nothing but kind to me. Doris from Morel’s Orchard in Carnarvon sold me the best chocolate coated mango I’ve ever tasted!
We really feel for all those families and businesses who have had their lives turned upside down by the impact of Tropical Cyclone Seroja.
We will be reaching out to HIF members who are in areas that have been severely impacted as soon as possible to support them with their health insurance,” Mr James said.
