The (flu) or Influenza is a very contagious infection of the airways. It affects people of all ages and although it can be a mild disease, it can also cause very serious illness in otherwise healthy people.
Getting vaccinated is a safe way to protect yourself from the flu and others around you, especially people who are too sick or too young to be vaccinated.
HIF members are now covered for an annual flu vaccination up to the value of $20, through their Pharmacy Benefit on all HIF Extras policies, excluding Vital Options.
