Once you’ve submitted an application to join HIF, a confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address.
We aim to process your application in our system as soon as possible, but recommend allowing approximately ten business days. A second confirmation will then be sent using the correspondence method selected on your application. This will welcome you to HIF and provide you with all the information you need to know about your policy, such as your HIF member number, commencement date, and ongoing membership details.
Please note: HIF membership cards are produced separately off-site, so please allow ten business days for your card to arrive in the mail. We offer a variety of other convenient ways to claim on eligible services the meantime. For more information on how to claim, visit hif.com.au/claim.
