HIF pledges support for communities impacted by WA bushfire

HIF News

HIF has made the donation direct to the Lord Mayors Distress Relief Fund and plans to provide individual support to those members who have lost their homes in the fires.

Justin James, CEO of HIF, said that it is times like this when it is important for us to come together as West Australians and support one another.

“When a devastating event such as this occurs, we want to provide any support we can.

We know that close to 700 members live in the bush fire impacted area, so we wanted to act quickly and provide support where we could.

Our goal is to contribute to relief for the Wooroloo and Hills communities and offer our members support when it comes to their health.

We will be reaching out to HIF members whose homes have been partially or fully destroyed to offer financial support to cover 12 months’ worth of their health insurance premiums.

As a WA born and bred business, it is our responsibility to help our local community.

We are thinking of all the affected families during this time,” Mr James said.
